About Calpol 650 + Tablet:

Calpol 650 + Tablet belongs to the group of mild analgesics (pain killers) and antipyretic (fever-reducing) medicine indicated for symptomatic relief from mild to moderate pain.

Each uncoated tablet contains Paracetamol: 650 mg.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic and antipyretic effects by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation and inhibition of the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre, respectively. It also exhibits weak anti-inflammatory activity by the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis.

Use of Calpol 650 + Tablet:

Calpol 650 + Tablet is prescribed to ease mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. It is also used for the treatment of conditions including headache, migraine, backache, toothache, menstrual pain, musculoskeletal pain, and common colds.

Usage Direction of Calpol 650 + Tablet:

• Calpol 650 + Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Calpol 650 + Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended quantity.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & Related information of Calpol 650 + Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Calpol 650 + Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Paracetamol overdose may be injurious to liver.
• Warning: Taking more than daily dose may cause serious liver damage or allergic reactions (e.g. swelling of the face, mouth and throat, difficulty in breathing, itching or rash)
• Seek precautions during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Calpol 650 + Tablet:

• Store at temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and moisture.
