Cipla ORS Prolyte Nimbu Paani Liquid is a WHO-recommended Oral Re-hydration Salt formula. It restores electrolytes as well as fluids and ensures quick dehydration recovery. It is to be used in conditions of diarrhea, vomiting, and when there is a loss of water and electrolytes. ORS can be a good replacement for lost fluids and electrolytes.

Composition:

Each pack (200 ml) contains:

Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.30 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.58 g, Dextrose Anhydrous: 2.70 g

200 ml of ORS supplies electrolytes in the following concentrations:

Electrolytes mOsmol/Litre

Sodium: 75, Potassium: 20, Chloride: 65, Citrate: 10, Dextrose: 75, Total Osmolarity 245

Usage Direction:

• If allergic to any ingredients of Cipla ORS Prolyte Nimbu Paani Liquid, let the physician know straight away.
• The dose should be appropriately adjusted to the patient’s requirement for maintenance and replacement of fluids.
• Do not buy or consume if the pack is puffed.
• Severe dehydration can lead to depressed renal function. Severe continuing diarrhea or other critical fluid losses may need supplementation with other parenteral fluids along with ORS.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this one with another medicine or supplement.
