About Dart Tablet:
Dart Tablet is a combination of three medicines used to relieve pain and fever.
Each uncoated Dart tablet contains Paracetamol 300 mg, Propyphenazone 150 mg, and Caffeine (anhydrous) 50 mg.
Paracetamol is an analgesic drug used for pain management and as an antipyretic agent. It exhibits analgesic action by peripheral blockage of pain impulse generation. It produces an antipyretic effect by inhibiting the hypothalamic heat-regulating center.
Propyphenazone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug derived from pyrazolone and is related to phenazone. It has antipyretic and analgesic properties, due to which it is used for the management of pain and reduction of fever.
Caffeine stimulates the brain; hence it is used as a central nervous stimulant. It can also be used as an analgesic adjuvant. Analgesic adjuvants do not relieve pain by themselves but augment the action of a known analgesic.
