Product Description:

Huma Pen Ergo II is an Insulin Device for giving accurate insulin injections. You can inject from 1 to 60 units of any Humulin or Humalog insulin from a 3 mL cartridge (100 IU/mL). You can dial your dose one unit at a time. If you dial too many units, you can correct the dose without wasting any insulin.

It can be used only with Lilly Humalog, Eglucent, Huminsulin, and Basaglar 3ml cartridges and Becton, Dickinson and Company(BD) pen needles. Humapen Ergo II has been designed to be used for up to 3 years after first use.

Usage Direction:

• Use under medical supervision.
• Read this entire manual completely and follow the direction carefully before using the pen.

Safety & Precaution:

• Always prime (Check insulin flow) before each injection. Do not use the pen if insulin does not flow after priming.
• Do not use the pen if any part of the pen appears broken or damaged.
• Do not share your pen and needles.
• Do not use the pen if the cartridge holder tabs are broken.
• Do not use other brands of insulin cartridges or 1.5 mL cartridges.
• Use a needle for each injection.
• Remove the needle after completing each injection. Do not store the pen with the needle attached.
• Your healthcare professional has prescribed the type of insulin best for you. Any changes in insulin should be made only under medical supervision.
• It is important that you read and understand all of the safety information before giving injections.

• Keep the pen away from moisture, dust, extreme hot or cold temperatures, and direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
