Ors (Lupin) Tingling Orange Flavour Sachet is an effective Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS) solution, featuring a tingling orange flavour, primarily used to restore body fluids & electrolytes lost due to dehydration. Based on the WHO's low-osmolarity standard, this formulation treats dehydration caused by diarrhea, vomiting, or excessive fluid loss. Its efficacy relies on the presence of glucose, which actively drives the absorption of sodium and water in the small intestine, thus replenishing lost sodium, potassium, chloride, and citrate to maintain the body’s electrolyte balance.

Composition:

Each Sachet of 21 g contains:

Sodium Chloride: 2.6 g, Potassium Chloride: 1.5 g, Sodium Citrate: 2.9 g, Dextrose (Anhydrous): 13.5 g, Excipients q.s.

Uses Of Ors (Lupin) Tingling Orange Flavour Sachet:

• For the replacement of fluid and electrolyte losses.
• To prevent or treat mild to moderate dehydration caused by conditions like diarrhea and vomiting.
• To replenish water and electrolytes lost due to intense exercise, heat exposure, or travel.
• To help restore circulating blood volume and cover ongoing fluid and electrolyte losses.

Usage Direction Of Ors (Lupin) Tingling Orange Flavour Sachet:

• Ors (Lupin) Tingling Orange Flavour Sachet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as advised by the physician.
• Boil the water and let it cool, then add 1 teaspoonful of powder in 200 ml (1 glass) of cooled water and stir.
• Treatment should be continued until diarrhoea stops or dehydration is corrected.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the recommended dose.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.
