Product Information:

Otrivin Moisturising Adult Nasal Drop is a clinically proven, specially formulated drop for decongesting the nasal passage and improving the nasal airflow during allergies and colds. It consists of nasal drops with moisturizing formula, which helps in relieving irritation & dryness.

Contains:

Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.1% w/v and Sorbitol Solution (70%) 2.0% w/v (Non-crystallising) in an aqueous buffered vehicle containing Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose.

Preservative:

Benzalkonium Chloride 0.01% w/v

Usage Direction:

• Clear the nose by blowing gently.
• Lie with head lower than shoulders.
• Insert dropper pipette a little way into each nostril and apply drops.
• Remain still for a few minutes.
• Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
• Before usage, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Precaution & related information:

• Do not use if - allergic to any ingredient of the product / has undergone transnasal surgery/ has narrow-angle glaucoma / Rhinitis sicca / Atrophic rhinitis.
• The healthcare professional should become aware of the concomitant usage of this one with other medicines.
• Seek medical advice if symptoms persist / overdose/ breast feeding / suffering from high blood pressure / heart disease / overactive thyroid / diabetes/ phaeochromocytoma / prostatic hypertrophy/ taking or has taken MAO inhibitors or anti-depressants in past 2 weeks.
• Otrivin Moisturising Adult should not be used for more than 10 consecutive days. Prolonged / excessive use may cause stuffiness in nose to return or worsen.
• Stop using Otrivin Moisturising Adult Nasal Drop and check with your doctor immediately in case of: Very rare side effects - allergic reactions, blurred vision, irregular or fast heartbeat, difficulty in breathing or swallowing. Common side effects - dryness/ irritation of nasal mucosa, nausea, headache, local burning sensation.
• Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
• Do not use if cap seal is broken on the bottle.
• Close the bottle tightly utter use.
• Consult with the healthcare professional in case of pregnancy & lactation.
