About Strepsils Orange Flavour Lozenges:

Strepsils Orange Flavour Lozenge is a medicated lozenge, made up of two effective antiseptic ingredients including, 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol and Amylmetacresol. It is used for the symptomatic relief of throat infections and soothes the throat. The fast-acting relief formula of Strepsils tends to prevent throat pain from getting worse. Unlike non-medicated throat sweets, Strepsils contains medicine that works long after the lozenge is dissolved.

Each Strepsils lozenges contains 2,4 Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol Ph. Eur. 1.2 mg and Amylmetacresol 0.6 mg

2,4-Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol and Amylmetacresol are both mild antiseptics, which kill the bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections. The action of sucking the lozenge allows the active ingredients to work in the area of the discomfort and also helps lubricate and soothe the painful area. This helps to relieve the soreness and discomfort of mouth and throat infections.

• If symptoms persist after 3 days, consult the physician.
• Strepsils are not recommended in children under 6 years of age.
• Do not exceed 12 lozenges in any 24 hours period.
