Product Information:

Relyte Sachet is a WHO and UNICEF-based ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) formula. It is indicated for electrolyte imbalance and fluid loss following diarrhoea, vomiting, excessive sweating of various etiology and in burns.

Each sachet of 4.2 g of ORS contains:

Sodium Chloride: 0.52 g, Potassium Chloride: 0.3 g, Sodium Citrate: 0.58 g, Dextrose (Anhydrous): 2.7 g, Excipients q.s.

Each sachet of 4.2 g of ORS dissolved in 200 ml of water contains molar concentrations of electrolytes & Dextrose in the following concentrations:

Sodium 75 mmol/l, Potassium 20 mmol/l, Chloride 65 mmol/l, Citrate 10 mmol/l & Dextrose 75 mmol/l, Total osmolar concentration is 245mOsmol/l

Usage Direction:

• Relyte Sachet is intended to consume orally in a dose and direction as advised. The exact dosage will depend upon the degree of fluid loss and on the severity of dehydration.
• Directions For Use: 1. Pour contents of the sachet in a glassful (200 ml) of previously boiled & cooled water. 2. Stir till dissolved. Discard any unused solution after 24 hours of preparation.
• Before consumption, always go through the leaflet or label instructions that come with the product.

Safety Information: 

• If allergic to any ingredients of Relyte Sachet, let the physician know straight away.
• The physician should be well informed when the concomitant consumption of this one with another medicine or supplement.
• Use with caution with impaired renal function, hypertension and cardiac failure.
• Continuous or severe fluid or electrolyte losses may need appropriate parenteral supplementation.
• Relyte Sachet is not for injection.
• Not to exceed the stated recommended daily usage.
• Seek precautions during pregnancy and lactation.

• Store below 30°C. Protected from moisture.
• Keep out of reach of children.
